Customizable user interface
The application's functions are organized into a number of widgets. You can choose where each of them is placed within the main program window or even disable the ones you do not need.
You can place them into tabs, so that they use up little screen space but are easily accessible. It is even possible to separate a widget into an entirely new window.
To avoid modifying their location once you have created an acceptable layout, you can lock all the program's widgets.
Offers numerous useful functions
QMPlay2 is not just a simple video player. It enables you to search for and download clips from YouTube or Prostopleer, using preset format settings.
Additionally, you can use it to listen to online radio stations. If song and author information is available, the application displays it in the information widget.
You can add new radio stations, but it is not possible to place them into custom categories. Also, you cannot delete the ones that are included upon installation.
Offers a complex playlist function, but lacks drag and drop functionality
QMPlay2 allows you to manage your media easily, with the help of customizable playlists. You can organize your files into folders, view them in a tree structure and search for songs and videos within the playlist.
However, it is not possible to use drag and drop actions to load files into the current playlist or the video player.
